Artist Talk 'Joy' Exhibition - Turua Gallery

I was a little apprehensive when Liss asked me if I would like to do an artist talk during our "joy' Exhibition at the Gallery. I have not been a huge fan of public speaking in the past, and I was worried that if any one actually turned up they would be bored out of their brains! However .. I found both the act of preparing and then performing my talk hugely fulfilling and great fun!. I discovered that I am rather a fan of public speaking.

I have so much appreciation for the large group of people who came along and gave up their Saturday morning to hear my story. It was also lovely to have to time to answer questions for the group and talk one on with different people afterwards.
